“ Good Indian food and good service at reasonable prices, some of my family are regulars at this restaurant and we enjoyed a meal with them here. We liked the staff and we appreciated their attention to us. As well as offering hot spicy food, they also cater well for those of us who are not accustomed to very hot spices. The interior of the restaurant has had a good refresh so the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. We will come again. ”
“ A new favourite place! Best samosa chaat I've ever had - I'd even consider getting multiple of them for a whole meal, so delicious! Very tasty curries as well. The curries were 'white people' level of spicy, so not enough spice for me personally, but still very nice, and next time I'll ask for some more spice. Definitely recommend this place! ”
“ What a great little restaurant with fantastic food. Great customer service by the owner. The restaurant just celebrated their 38th anniversary. ”
“ The lamb khorma and chicken tikka masala were so favourable and delicious. The naan paired well with the thick savory lamb khorma. The boss was very friendly and enjoyed his friendly chat. ”
“ We drove from Sydney to have dinner here off the back of a recommendation, and we will definitely go again. More than worth the trip. Food was all cooked fresh to order, you really can tell the quality ingredients and care in preparing the dishes. Service was prompt and the owner spoke with us and suggested some off the menu dishes that were fantastic. (I am very fussy about my Indian food, always comparing it to mum and the dishes I ate on holidays in India) Whilst they have the customary butter chicken it is their Chef’s in house specials you really have to try. Good selection of drinks available to match the meal. ”
“ Amazing Indian restaurant, interesting fact this is the first Indian restaurant in Newcastle. The owner comes out to greet you and check up if everything is fine, everything was perfect. ”
